We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not legally required to do so.
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (“IONOS”). When you visit the site, IONOS’s servers automatically record information that your browser transmits. This server log data includes:
We process this data to deliver the website reliably, to ensure the stability and security of our systems, and to investigate misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
IONOS processes this data on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. A corresponding data processing agreement is in place: since 19 July 2022 it forms part of the IONOS terms and conditions and applies to our contract. IONOS anonymises the IP addresses in the log files and retains the log data for a maximum of eight weeks, after which it is deleted.
For security, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmitted between your browser and our server. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” prefix in your browser’s address bar.
This website does not use cookies. It does not store any information on your device, nor read information already stored there, for analytics, tracking, or advertising purposes. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is required.
We use the “Fahkwang” typeface, which is served directly from our own server. No connection is established to Google or any other third party when fonts are loaded, and no data about you (such as your IP address) is transmitted to a font provider.
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide — your email address, your message, and any details you choose to share — solely to handle and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a (pre-)contractual matter, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We retain this correspondence for as long as necessary to deal with your request and thereafter in line with any applicable statutory retention obligations.
Personal data is processed by us and by our hosting provider, IONOS, in Germany. We do not transfer personal data to recipients outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
Under the GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in section 1. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein

You are not legally or contractually obliged to provide personal data. Apart from the server log data that is technically required to access the site, any information you provide (for example, by emailing us) is given voluntarily.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to the website or to legal requirements. The current version is indicated by the effective date shown at the top of this page.
